The manufacturing method comprises stringing several bamboo strips (1) of the same or different widths via a fibre rope (2) or an adhesive tape to form a bamboo base plate, and then cold pressing or hot pressing the above-mentioned multiple layers of the bamboo base plates with an adhesive layer (3) to form the bamboo composite plate. During the pressing, lateral pressing and flat pressing are carried out simultaneously, and the process is simple and the cost is low. In addition, gaps of each layer are not aligned and do not penetrate through the multiple layers in the thickness direction thereof, so that the multi-layer bamboo composite plate has a high strength and a strong anti-bending capacity.
