The raw materials of a formulation therefor comprise hydroxyl-terminated polysiloxane, silicone oil, polymethyl triethoxy silane, a synthetic reinforcer, a reinforcing filler, a high-temperature-resistant filler, a cross-linking agent, a coupling agent and a catalyst. The silica gel is a room temperature-cured mono-component silica gel and is compounded using the synthetic reinforcer, the reinforcing filler and the high-temperature-resistant filler, has good high temperature resistance and good mechanical properties, and is mainly used for adhesively bonding and sealing materials such as ceramics, metals, stainless steel etc. under a high-temperature environment. Also provided is a preparation method for the room temperature-cured mono-component high-temperature-resistant silica gel. The present invention improves both the mechanical properties and the high temperature resistance of the organic silica gel, enriches the varieties of the organic silica gel, expands the application fields of the organic silica gel, and has a good application prospect.
