POSITION INFORMATION PROMPT METHOD AND DEVICE BASED ON SIGNAL INTENSITY

Disclosed is a position information prompt method based on a signal intensity. The method comprises: analyzing, by a mobile terminal, whether an intensity value of a current mobile communication signal is greater than a first pre-set signal intensity value each pre-set time interval; when the analyzed intensity value of the current mobile communication signal is greater than the first pre-set signal intensity value, locating, by the mobile terminal, the current position and recording located position information; and when it is found that the intensity value of the mobile communication signal is less than a second pre-set signal intensity value, locating, by the terminal device, the current position, determining information about a position which is closest to the current position from the recorded position information, and prompting the determined position information. Also disclosed is a position information prompt device based on a signal intensity.
