The present invention relates to a method for enhancing the quantity and/or quality of milk produced by milk-producing animals by feeding the animals with plants from the family of Poaceae or with parts thereof, where the plants or parts thereof, the locus where the plants are growing or are intended to grow and/or plant propagules from which the plants are to grow have been treated with at least one strobilurin fungicide.;The invention further relates to the use of at least one strobilurin fungicide for enhancing the quantity and/or quality of milk produced by milk-producing animals.
