A method for controlling a TV set through voice, and a TV set. The method for controlling a TV set through voice comprises: collecting a first voice signal of a user; when the TV set cannot recognize the first voice signal, displaying an instruction interface, wherein the instruction interface comprises N instructions so that the user selects a first instruction corresponding to the first voice signal, the first instruction being any instruction of the N instructions; and according to a pre-established instruction-voice group corresponding relationship, saving the first voice signal in a first voice group corresponding to the first instruction, the first voice group comprising all voice signals triggering the first instruction. The method for controlling a TV set through voice and the TV set in the present disclosure can perfect the voice control function of the TV set.
