The present invention relates to a ship propulsion apparatus, and more specifically, to a ship propulsion apparatus using a reinforced coil power transmission, comprising: an engine positioned inside of a hull; a flywheel plate fixedly coupled to the engine so as to transmit torque of the engine; a spline flange insertedly coupled to the center of the flywheel plate so as to rotate; a first nut flange fixedly coupled to the end of the spline flange; a reinforced coil connected to the first nut flange; a second nut flange connected to the other end of the reinforced coil; a pinion spline fixedly coupled to the second nut flange; a pinion gear insertedly coupled to the center of the pinion spline so as to rotate; a driven gear perpendicular to the pinion gear and rotating so as to be engaged therewith; a drive shaft to which the driven gear is insertedly coupled such that the drive shaft rotates; and a propulsion device positioned outside of the hull and generating propulsive force by using the torque of the engine, transmitted to the drive shaft, and among ship engines, with respect to an in-board engine method in particular, in which an engine is positioned inside the hull and the propulsion device is positioned outside the hull, the ship propulsion apparatus enables power generated from the engine to be transmitted to the stern drive by using the reinforced coil power transmission and, simultaneously, enables smooth tilting of the propulsion device positioned below sea level.
