The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in other fields of industry for driving machines, mechanisms and other devices as an automatic variator with stepless variation of transmission ratio without disengagement of gears or interruption of torque delivery, and without control devices or therewith. The present planetary transmissions comprise a drive gear, a ring, (a) planet gear(s) and (a) carrier(s) and are characterized in that the transmission ratios, the angles of rotation of the links and, correspondingly, other parameters are defined according to relationships via Vedeneev's formulae, including from approximations thereof: Ι12=Ζ2/((Ζ1-(Ζ2/Ζ1)), Ι1Η=Ζ3/(Ζ1-(Ζ2/Ζ1)), Ι13=2*Ι12=2*(Ζ2/(Ζ1-(Ζ2/Ζ1))). Ι16=Ζ5/((Ζ1-(Ζ2/Ζ1))-((Ζ6/Ζ3)+(Ζ3/Ζ2))) and can not have retarded links, where Ι12 is the transmission ratio between the central gear and a planet gear, I1H is the transmission ratio between the central gear and a carrier, I13 is the transmission ratio between the central gear and the ring (annular gear, central gear), and I16, in automatic variators, is the transmission ratio between the drive gear and the central link.
