Disclosed is a method for communication between a mobile terminal and a POS terminal. The method comprises the steps: separately encapsulating, on the mobile terminal and the POS terminal, a broadcast interface used for filling broadcast information and a scanning interface used for obtaining the broadcast information; a broadcast thread of the POS terminal or the mobile terminal invokes the broadcast interface to fill the encrypted broadcast information into a data payload in a data structure to obtain an encrypted data payload, encapsulates and generates a broadcast data packet, and then broadcasts the broadcast data packet by using an ibeacon Bluetooth module; and the mobile terminal entering a broadcast area of the POS terminal or the POS terminal entering a broadcast area of the mobile terminal invokes a data reception thread and uses the ibeacon Bluetooth module to obtain the broadcast data packet by using an interface callback function of the scanning interface, decapsulates the broadcast data packet to obtain the encrypted data payload, and then decrypts the encrypted data payload to obtain the broadcast information. In the present invention, data is broadcast and scanned by means of ibeacon.
