The invention relates to a method for identifying inductive charging parking surfaces (20a-c) for vehicles (12). The following steps are providing: detecting a charging inquiry (L) of a vehicle by means of a stationary communication interface (30) and outputting an identification alternating magnetic field (I) to a vehicle-side secondary coil (14). The identification alternating magnetic field is generated by means of a stationary charging device (40a-c). The identification alternating magnetic field is modulated by means of an identification signal. The invention further relates to an inductive charging assembly (10) for a plurality of inductive charging parking surfaces (20a-20c) that is suitable for performing the method.
