SHOULDER ORTHOSIS FOR ACROMIOCLAVICULAR JOINT LUXATION OR DISTAL CLAVICLE FRACTURE

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a therapeutic shoulder orthosis to be used in treating acromioclavicular joint luxation or distal clavicle fracture, said therapeutic shoulder orthosis fixing a wearer's upper arm in a positional state of hanging down along the trunk to thereby assist the wearer's daily life motions and eliminate his/her anxiety and discomfort during wearing. The therapeutic shoulder orthosis is provided with a strap to be used for reposition, said strap consisting of a section vertically descending from the front part of the acromioclavicular joint toward the forearm ulnar side, a section transversing a forearm trough, a section ascending from the radial side of the forearm to the back side of the shoulder in such a manner as to wind around the front part of the upper arm, and a section transversing on a shoulder pad from the back side to the front side and joining to the acromioclavicular joint part, and said sections continuously forming a loop. In the therapeutic shoulder orthosis, the strap running therein is crossed or twisted so that the wearer's upper arm is kept in the positional state of hanging down during wearing and thus stable reposition can be maintained.
