The invention relates to a combination of a compact vacuum cleaner (1), which comprises a first dust extractor device (10) with a first dust collector, a fan for generating a stream of suction air through the first dust extractor device (10) and an electric motor (25) for driving the fan, and a vacuum cleaner housing (40) which comprises a second dust collector. The compact vacuum cleaner (1) can be inserted into the vacuum cleaner housing (40) comprising the second dust collector and the first and second dust collectors can be removed together as a combined unit from the vacuum cleaner housing (40). The invention also relates to a compact vacuum cleaner of this type and to a correspondingly designed vacuum cleaner housing. This allows filter performance to be improved during the operation of the compact vacuum cleaner as a unit together with the vacuum cleaner housing, without the need for significant additional handling requirements for the elimination of the extracted dust.
