A media distribution magnetoresistor for an electrochemical cell, wherein media-conducting channels (2) which run parallel, are bounded by webs (1) and are intended for the fluidic reaction media are arranged with a meandering structure in the media distribution magnetoresistor, wherein the meander limit channels (3, 3'), which are present at webs with an opposed flow direction of the reaction media, are provided with meander limit webs (4, 4'), which are expanded rising in a stepped manner, such that the web width is lowest in the deflecting regions (5, 5') of the meander limit channels (3, 3').
