Collector and storage apparatus comprising a frame and a number of collector tubes for storing a fluid to be heated, wherein the number of collector tubes (110; 210; 310) are mounted in an axial direction in the frame between a first section (101; 201; 301) and an opposite second section (102; 202; 302) of the frame, which first and second sections are mechanically connected by at least two connectors (103,104; 203,204,205) extending in the axial direction, each collector tube having a first end and a second open end, wherein a sealing piece (108; 208; 308) is slidingly mounted in the second open end of each collector tube and wherein said sealing piece is coupled to the second section.
