Disclosed is an effective active control method for an output filter inductor of a grid -connected inverter, which can reduce a size of an inductor core of a small-sized photovoltaic inverter and reduce the inductor loss according to capacities. According to the present invention, since the output filter inductor of a photovoltaic inverter has an off-grid control structure, the photovoltaic inverter can be easily started and extending a capacity of a photovoltaic power generation system and downscaling a circuit are facilitated. Also, the size of the inductor can be minimized by controlling a magnetizing current of the inductor according to a direction of an output current. Since a magnetic circuit of the inductor is steadily sustained, it is possible to stably operate the inductor. Moreover, a thermal loss generated from the inductor is minimized by efficiently managing an operation module, thereby prolonging the life of the inductor, reduction in the size of the core used in the inductor facilitates easy maintenance, and reduction of materials costs improves economical feasibility.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
