According to the present invention, a method for checking pipe modeling rules is performed by a computer device, which inspects whether 3D modeling for pipes is normally performed. The method comprises the steps of: displaying an arrangement of pipes on a specific space selected by a user, and receiving a piping diagram including information on the arranged pipes; extracting at least one pipe from the received piping diagram and determining the at least one extracted pipe as an object to be inspected; and checking whether the at least one pipe determined as the object to be inspected meets the pipe modeling rules, which indicate standards on normal modeling for pipes. Therefore, the method may prevent a malfunction in the production and installation of pipes, which may occur in the production stage.
