METHOD FOR DATA SECURITY USING SECRET SHARING SYSTEM IN CLOUD ENVIRONMENTS

The present invention relates to a method for protecting data using a secret sharing method in a cloud environment. The method for uploading a file on a cloud service by a secret sharing system includes the steps of: selecting the file to be uploaded on the cloud service; dividing the selected file based on the secret sharing method; selecting a plurality of cloud services for uploading the divided file pieces; and uploading the divided file pieces on the cloud services by connecting to the cloud services. Also, the method for downloading a file from the cloud service by the secret sharing system includes the steps of: searching and reading the divided file pieces by connecting to the cloud services; downloading the read file pieces; and recombining the downloaded file piece based on the secret sharing method.
