An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method to cause load change to detect a wireless power receiver during wireless charging. The method may include: a step of maintaining a switch connected to a dummy load turned on in the wireless power receiver; a step of receiving wireless power from a wireless power transmitter; and a step of, if the wireless power is received, turning off the switch connected to the dummy load.
