The present invention relates to a method of preparing a supported-catalyst for preparing a carbon nanostructure, the method including the steps of a) preparing a mixed solution of a metal catalyst precursor and a complexing agent; b) mixing the mixed solution and a milled Al-based support to prepare a supported catalyst precursor; and c) firing the supported catalyst precursor. A carbon nanostructure prepared by using a supported-catalyst according to the present invention is characterized in that multiple carbon nanostructures (CNS) are gathered to form a tube shape in whole or in part to form a novel secondary structure. Since a novel secondary structure of a carbon nanostructure can be obtained in a high yield by adding a complexing agent when a metal catalyst is synthesized, a supported-catalyst according to the present invention can be applied to various fields, such as an energy material, a functional composite, a medicine, a battery, a semiconductor, etc.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
