The present invention relates to a composition containing Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract and, more specifically to a composition presenting excellent anti-allergic effect and antipruritic effect by containing Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract as an effective ingredient. The Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract significantly inhibits inflammable cytokine and itching substances without toxicity in cells. Provided in the present invention are a composition containing a Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract as an effective ingredient, an anti-allergic composition containing Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract as an effective ingredient, and an antipruritic composition containing a Diospyros lotus L. leaf extract as an effective ingredient.
