The present invention relates to a black box device to share a storage unit of a black box with a navigation device and a method for operating the same, and, more particularly, to a black box device to share a storage unit of a black box with a navigation device and a method for operating the same which can make a black box share a storage unit of the black box with a navigation device when the navigation device requests for data access to access data stored in the storage unit of the black box, thereby sharing the storage unit of the black box which can supply data, such as images or videos. The black box device to share the storage unit of the black box with the navigation device according to the present invention includes: a navigation unit for accessing data stored in the storage unit of the black box; and a black box unit for supplying stored data to the navigation unit by sharing the storage unit of the black box with the navigation unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
