LED LAMP CAPABLE OF AUTO DIMMING AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to an LED lamp capable of automatically adjusting brightness and a control method thereof. To this end, the LED lamp for automatically adjusting brightness comprises a power supply unit converting AC power applied when an ON/OFF switch is turned on, into DC power and outputting the same; a constant voltage supply unit receiving the DC power from the power supply unit and outputting a constant voltage; and a brightness adjusting unit sequentially converting brightness of lighting from a maximum level to minimum level or from a minimum level to maximum level in stages when the constant voltage is applied from the constant voltage supply unit, and turning on an LED light source unit to have brightness corresponding to a brightness stage of lighting at a time when the ON/OFF switch is turned off, by interworking with a control unit when the ON/OFF switch is turned off and subsequently turned on within a preset period of time, while brightness of lighting is being sequentially converted in stages. Also, a color adjusting unit is added to allow a color to be automatically changed by a designed color when the ON/OFF switch is first turned on. After the ON/OFF switch is turned off and then turned on within a preset period of time, the color of lighting at the point in time at which the ON/OFF switch was turned off can be realized by interworking with the control unit. Thus, in the present invention, a user can easily adjust brightness of lighting or a color of lighting by simply replacing a lamp.
