The present invention relates to an apparatus for evaluating the performance of a gamma knife, which is a radiation surgery tool for oncotherapy of a head and neck part, among radiation medical equipment for treating various diseases, such as cancers, by using radiation. The apparatus for evaluating the performance of a gamma knife according to one example of the present invention includes: a gamma knife surgery tool; a first phantom having a first space for absorbing gamma rays emitted from the gamma knife surgery tool; a second phantom inserted into and combined to the first phantom and including a plurality of radiation measuring tools for measuring a plurality of parameters related to the gamma rays absorbed through the first space; and a control unit for evaluating the performance of the gamma knife surgery tool using at least one of multiple sets of information measured through the radiation measuring tools. The first phantom is previously fixed by corresponding to a position of the head and neck part of a patient to which the gamma knife surgery tool is applied. The second phantom coupled to the first phantom can be separated from the first phantom so the second phantom is exchangeable.
