Detection apparatus of moving object in unstable camera environment and method thereof

Disclosed is a moving object detecting apparatus for detecting a moving object from an image captured in an unstable camera environment. A camera movement estimating unit estimates a movement of a camera by estimating an affine matrix from a plurality of continuous images. A moving object detecting unit detects a moving object from the continuous images by using a difference of Gaussian based on the estimated camera movement. According to the present invention, a moving object can be accurately detected by capturing a movement of a camera even in an unstable camera environment in which the camera is mobile, not fixed.
