HYPOID GEAR MACHINING METHOD USING 5-AXIS CNC MACHINE

The present invention relates to a hypoid gear machining method using a five-axes machining device. The hypoid gear machining method includes a step of fixing a base material to a rotating base material table; a step of rough grinding a ring support unit on the base material by moving a tool capable of tilting and moving on an X-axis, a Y-axis, a Z-axis and moving on the five-axes; a step of rough grinding a tooth form in the base material by using the tool; and a step of finishing the tooth form and the ring support unit on the base material by using the tool. The five-axes machining device enables the tool to idle for a predetermined time to maintain the temperature of the tool to process the tooth form and the ring support unit.
