Automaton Apparatus and Method of Image Quality Evaluation in Digital Cinema

PURPOSE: An automatic image quality evaluating method of a digital cinema is provided to compare images whose qualities are changed during compression with original images, thereby automatically checking an image quality change. CONSTITUTION: A J2K decoder(140) restores a compressed target image into an original image. An image quality analyzing unit(160) compares an uncompressed image with the original image. The image quality analyzing unit analyzes how much percentage of quality lowering occurs. An error detecting unit finds a compressed image with an error. A quality check result output unit(180) shows information about a quality analysis result for each image and an image with an error.
