The present invention relates to a device and a method for generating a two-way chirp signal using a phase accumulation polynomial, and a two-way chirp signal generator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an extraction unit for extracting time interval information from an output of a frequency accumulator; a polynomial processing unit for generating a polynomial output value by applying a phase accumulation polynomial for the extracted time interval information; and a two-way chirp signal output unit for generating a two-way chirp signal based on the generated polynomial output value.
