A mobile terminal (200) generating a control command using a marker attached to a finger comprises: a camera (210) which receives a target image including a finger area; a fingertip area detecting module (220) which detects he finger area in the target image using an image processing technology, and detects a fingertip area in the finger area; a marker area detecting module (230) which detects a colored marker area attached to the finger in the target image using a color detecting technology; a controlling module (240) which operates the fingertip area detecting module or the marker area detecting module based on a criteria of user input; and a coordinate calculating module (250) which calculates three-dimensional values using the fingertip area or the colored marker area.
