A graphic based one-time password authentication system of the present invention comprises a graphic password setting unit which displays a plurality of candidate images which can be selected as a graphic password image to a user and stores graphic password images selected by the user among the candidate images; a password display screen controlling unit which generates a one-time password as different input keys which are randomly selected for each graphic password image when the authentication of the user is attempted and generates a graphic based one-time password display screen comprising a pair of one-time password image-input keys of the graphic password image and a one-time password input key; and a one-time password authenticating unit which authenticates the user according to a determination result of the correspondence between the input keys and the graphic password images based on the combination of the input keys inputted by the user and the pair of one-time password image-input keys based on the graphic based one-time password display screen displayed to the user.
