The present invention relates to a system and method for registering a mobile communications terminal in which the mobile communications terminal is registered by storing device information about the mobile communications terminal in an application server, and more particularly, to a system for registering a mobile communications terminal based on information about an OS (operating system), in which the information about the OS and ID of a mobile communications terminal is stored to register the mobile communications terminal to an application server after the OS of the mobile communications is authenticated, and the authentication of a user is performed based on the information about the OS and ID of the registered mobile communications terminal, an authentication system using the same and a method thereof.
