The present invention relates to a radar signal recognizing technique and, more particularly, to a method for automatically recognizing a binary phase shift keying (BPSK) or a quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) form, a detailed modulation form, of a radar signal classified by phase shift keying (PSK) by using an N overlapping phase difference without recovering a carrier of a detected radar signal. According to the present invention, when a detected radar signal has a PSK form, an N overlapping phase difference is obtained, and the radar signal is classified into BPSK or QPSK by using the number of peaks of a histogram based on the N overlapping phase difference, whereby a detailed modulation form such as BPSK or QPSK can be automatically recognized.
