The present invention provides chips for preliminary examination of samples and capture of cells in samples. The chips for preliminary examination of samples and capture of cells in samples according to the present invention include a first hole formed in a first position of a substrate, a mesh filter having multiple filter holes on the lower bottom of the substrate to correspond to the first hole, and a second hole smaller than the first hole in a second position. According to the present invention, the state or properties of a sample can be preliminarily examined, thereby allowing a user to replace the sample with a new sample or to take additional measures for proper samples when the sample is unsuitable.
