The present invention relates to a novel lactic acid bacterium having an antiviral activity against coxsackievirus and, more specifically, to a Bifidobacterium adolescentis SPM 1605 having the antiviral activity against Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3). The Bifidobacterium adolescentis SPM 1605 according to the present invention is a lactic acid bacterium isolated from intestines and shows enhanced antiviral activity against the CVB3, thereby being applicable to antiviral compositions such as probiotics and the like.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
