A visible light responsive photocatalyst by hydrophilic modification using polymer material and a method for preparing the same

In the present invention, provided are a photocatalyst responsive to visible light, which has an outstanding effect of removing environment pollutants and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the photocatalyst responsive to visible light has an improved effect of removing environment pollutants under visible light by modifying the surface of titanium dioxide with increased absorption ratio of visible light by doping nitrogen into a hydrophilic surface with use of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) which is a silicon-carbon precursor. In the present invention, the photocatalyst for removing environment pollutants can be environmentally used for removing volatile organic compounds, purifying air, treating waste water and used in sterilization. In addition, the photocatalyst is attached to the surface of outside walls on buildings, building materials, windows, sound-proof walls, facilities installed on roads and advertisement boards and thus removes pollutants while preventing damage caused by sun light.
