The present invention relates to cereal containing whole grains for inhibiting hyperglycemia and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to cereal containing any one or more ingredients selected from the group consisting of brown rice, whole wheat, whole barley, oats, modified starch, dietary fiber, and black beans for inhibiting hyperglycemia and a method for manufacturing the cereal. Additionally, the present invention provides a method that how to use the cereal for preventing diabetes or a method for using the cereal as a diet or a substitute food for diabetic patients.
