The present invention relates to an on-board detection system for a high-speed railway track circuit, which detect continuous information signals and discontinuous information signals transmitted to a train via a track circuit and a loop in a train being on the move to determine whether there is abnormality in the signals, and more specifically, to on-board detection system for a high-speed railway track circuit and a method thereof, which are capable of improving convenience in maintenance and minimizing detection errors by simplifying the system configuration. The on-board detection system for a high-speed railway track circuit comprises: a continuous information detection unit which detects message information containing a train operation condition and voltage level information that is a voltage value of a continuous information signal from the received continuous information signal; a continuous information integration unit which merges the message information and the voltage level information detected by the continuous information detection unit into a single message frame and transmits the message frame to an overall processing unit; a discontinuous information detection unit which detects message information containing the train operation condition and voltage level information that is a voltage value of a discontinuous information signal from the received discontinuous information signal; and a discontinuous information integration unit which merges the message information and the voltage level information detected by the discontinuous information detection unit into a single frame and transmits the frame to the overall processing unit, wherein the continuous information detection unit and the continuous information integration unit are configured to be one integrated unit, and the discontinuous information detection unit and the discontinuous information integration unit are configured to be one integrated unit. Therefore, the on-board detection system of the present invention increases efficiency in installation and maintenance works, and reduces an error rate of detection and installation costs by reducing the number of cables required for connecting equipment.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
