The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, treating or improving an andropause syndrome comprising (a) a Smilax glabra extract or (b) a mixture of Smilax glabra and Lepidium meyenii extracts. The composition of the present invention can increase serum testosterone level, and the mixture of the Smilax glabra and Lepidium meyenii extracts can significantly reduce prevalence caused by male hormone deficiency.
