The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide; and to glass fiber-reinforced polyamide manufactured by the method. Specifically, the present invention provides a manufacturing method of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide; and glass fiber-reinforced polyamide manufactured by the method, wherein the method comprises a first step of uniformly mixing glass fiber, polyamide and a silane-based coupling agent; and a second step of applying radiation to a mixture obtained in the first step. The manufacturing method of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide of the present invention couples glass fiber and polyamide by using a silane-based coupling agent which comprises both an inorganic functional group having compatibility with glass fiber and an organic functional group having compatibility with polyamide; and can enhance physical properties of a composite material. In addition, the coupling agent comprising a vinyl group has an effect of promoting cross-linking reaction caused by irradiation. Furthermore, the manufacturing method of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide applies radiation to the mixture obtained in the first step, thereby forming a three-dimensional net by cross-linking reaction. Accordingly, the manufacturing method of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide has effects of overcoming the limitation of adsorption behavior caused by simple compatibility between glass fiber and polyamide; and enhancing mechanical properties of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide even under high temperature and wet conditions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
