A device, for detecting creeping of a radar wave, comprises: a transmitter for transmitting a radar wave; a receiver for receiving an arriving wave from a target; a distance detection unit for determining a first distance which is a distance to the target; a velocity calculation unit for calculating a relative velocity with respect to the target; a distance estimation unit for estimating a second distance to the target based on the relative velocity; and a creeping detection unit for determining whether a creeping occurs or not according to whether a difference between the first and second distances is at least the predetermined threshold.
