The present invention relates to a digital multi-function breaker for integrated blocking of an arc, a short circuit, an electric leakage, and an overcurrent and a blocking method thereof. The digital multi-function breaker is designed to integrally detect and block an arc, a short circuit, an electric leakage, and an overcurrent through an artificial neural network and to include an arc fault classifier for determining an arc fault and a special load classifier for classifying special loads causing malfunctions in the structure of the artificial neural network, thereby determining the arc fault and the type of the special load at the same time. Also, the digital multi-function breaker can verify the arc fault of the special load by driving the corresponding separate artificial neural network-based arc fault classifier, thereby improving the accuracy of the determination of the arc fault.
