The present invention relates to a method for adjusting a three-dimensional effect and a three-dimensional image display device using the same. The method comprises the steps of: separating left-eye image data and right-eye image data from input three-dimensional image data; determining positive depth and negative depth of the input three-dimensional image data; and adjusting the positive depth using a first parameter and adjusting the negative depth using a second parameter to change a disparity between the left-eye image data and the right-eye image data.
