The present invention relates to a sailing control method for a hybrid electric ship in a zero emission zone, which can predict whether or not the current battery status allows a ship to pass a zero emission zone in real time by measuring average voltage of a charged battery, trends of the average voltage, and a distance to a destination, and can select appropriate sailing mode according to the situation. The sailing control method comprises: (a1) a step of measuring the average voltage of a battery and a distance to a destination; (a3) a step of comparing the average voltage with a reference voltage (hereinafter, referred to as arrival reference margin) which guarantees sailing to the destination; (b1) a step of checking trends of electricity consumption using an average voltage change when the average voltage is higher than the arrival reference marine; (b2) a step of determining whether or not the average voltage allows a ship to arrive the closest charging plate when the average voltage change is smaller than a previously determined electricity consumption stable value; and (c1) a step of determining sailing in electricity minimum consumption mode when failing to arrive the charging place. Therefore, the sailing control method can maximize the possibility of passing a zero emission zone by predicting the possibility of passing the zero emission zone with the current battery status and selecting appropriate sailing mode according to the situation.
