The present invention relates to a water permeable block with rain water storage and a construction method for the same and, more specifically, to a water permeable block with rain water storage and a construction method for the same to have improved drainage performance and permeability in case of rain by allowing rainwater to rapidly flow in through a rainwater hole. The water permeable block with rain water storage comprises: the rainwater hole (110) formed at one side bottom of a quadrangular block body (100) to store rainwater for the natural drainage of rainwater to the ground; a side protrusion (130) and a front protrusion (150) protruding outward from the bottom of the block body (100); and a side groove (140) and a rear groove (160) formed at the other side bottom of the rear side bottom of the block body (100) to correspond to the side protrusion (130) and the front protrusion (150).
