The present invention relates to a novel use of a dansyl derivative and, more specifically, a dansyl derivative, which is used for sensing reactive oxygen species. The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a dansyl derivative and a derivative manufactured by the method whose emission wavelength is changed when touching the reactive oxygen species, thereby being used for sensing whether the reactive oxygen species exist or not. Therefore, molecules of the manufactured dansyl derivative are allowed to easily photograph the reactive oxygen species included in samples, thereby being widely used in various research and industrial fields.
