The present invention relates to a method of inducing embryonic stem cells to differentiate the same into glial progenitor cells, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: 1) culturing embryonic stem cells to form an embryoid body; 2) separating the embryoid body into a single cell and culturing the separated single cell to induce a generation of neural stem cells; and 3) additionally culturing the neural stem cells, separating the cultured neural stem cells into a single cell, and subculturing the separated neural stem cells 5 to 40 times. When using the method according to the present invention, it is possible to continuously culture obtained glial progenitor cells and induce the glial progenitor cells to differentiate into astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, thereby being effectively used for screening of toxic materials related to the cells and assessing toxicity.
