The present invention relates to a protein biomarker for estimating toxicity and exposure of hydrofluoric acid and, more specifically to a protein biomarker for toxicity and exposure of hydrofluoric acid comprising at least one protein out of sixteen proteins which show an expression change such as an increase or decrease after a proteomic analysis after 24 hours of hydrofluoric acid treatment in human skin fibroblasts. The biomarker contains at least one out of eleven kinds of proteins, wherein five of the proteins show expression increases and eleven of the proteins show expression decreases after the hydrofluoric acid treatment, including beta-actin, annexin A5, annexin A4, prohibitin, heat shock protein 27, collagen, MSN protein, MTHSP 75, stress-induced phosphoprotein 1, PHGDH, EF-Tu, hnRNP 2H9B, phosphoglycerate mutase 1, peroxiredoxin, 40S ribosomal protein S12, or HLA-A2.
