The present invention relates to a nucleic acid aptamer that can specifically bind to mature adipocytes and uses thereof. More specifically, an aptamer having high binding affinity to 3T3-L1 mature adipocytes is selected in an aptamer library by using a FACS-based SELEX method, and it is confirmed that the selected aptamer is not bound to primary mature brown adipocytes, but to primary mature white adipocytes. Accordingly, the selected aptamer can be used for detection and quantification of mature white adipocyte, or obesity prevention and medicine screening.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
