METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS AND WEIGHT VECTOR BASED ON GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR IMPLEMENTING DYNAMIC SPECTRUM ACCESS, COGNITIVE ENGINE APPARATUS AND COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEM USING THE METHOD
The present invention provides a method for optimizing transmission parameters and weight vectors based on genetic algorithms for implementing dynamic spectrum access, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring continuously spectrum sensing information on, across the whole spectrum, occupied bands where first PU signals exist and idle narrow bands; acquiring candidate values for transmission parameters to optimize; selecting genetic bit strings by each generation by performing calculation for gene selection, breeding, mutation and substitution according to an suitability level value which is obtained by applying a multi-purpose suitability function to genetic bit strings combining indices of the candidate values of the acquired transmission parameters; and computing, as optimized transmission parameter values, the transmission parameters values according to the genetic bit strings which can maximize the value of a multi-purpose suitability function, wherein the transmission parameters includes EIRP (equivalent isotropic radiation power), M (modulation index), W(k) (bandwidth of an idle narrow band), and Bs ( signal bandwidth of second user (SU)); the multi-purpose suitability function computes the weighted sum of single-purpose suitability functions for bandwidth utilization, data transmission rate, interference amount, and bit error rate, respectively.
