In a knocking control method using learning range separation in accordance to the present invention, knocking learning cell separation is performed in a full load and a partial load. As a partial load knocking learning value in a same area is applied to the full load together, a knocking occurrence in full load is minimized with a learning value in the partial load of a high load. Moreover, when learning of a specific cell value in the partial load, a specific cell value in the full load is learned together, thereby being mapped by 2fg advance in a same area more than the partial load. Therefore, a characteristic of the full load may be reflected, which is favorable for knocking with learning by intactly receiving a partial load learning value. More specifically, even if an ignition timing set-up method is different, a knocking learning control area considers the partial load and the full load as a table, and a vicious cycle of knocking in accordance with mapping may be solved.
