The present invention relates to a veterinary composition for treating wounds of animals, containing platelet-rich plasma activated by mixing platelet-rich plasma separated from an allogeneic body of animals with a platelet-activating factor, and a method for treating wounds of animals using the same. The activated platelet-rich plasma, in accordance with the present invention, separates and concentrates platelet-rich plasma obtained from the allogeneic body through two rounds of centrifugation, adds calcium, and removes growth factors useful in tissue regeneration from platelets, thereby promoting the regeneration of connective tissue and inducing angiogenesis. Therefore, the present invention can be usefully used for wound treatment of animals due to an excellent effect of promoting the angiogenesis of wound tissues and skin regeneration of animals.
