Provided are a control server for controlling a smart device, a method for controlling the control server, and a management server for managing the control server. The disclosed control server comprises: a storage unit which stores information on whether or not the user of the smart device attends a lecture corresponding to the control server; and a control unit which generates control instructions to control operation of the smart device, wherein, if the control server is connected to the smart device, the control unit stores, in the storage unit, the information on whether or not the user of the smart device attends a lecture, and transmits the control instructions to the smart device.
